IMDD Tx PICs
HyperLight’s IMDD Tx PICs, leveraging the TFLN Chiplet™ platform, deliver best-in-class transmitter performance through ultra-high bandwidth and exceptionally low on-chip optical loss—available as known-good dies (KGDs) or wafers.
Our DR8 Tx PICs represent the optimal optical solutions for high-performance data centers and AI/ML networking. With electro-optic bandwidth exceeding 100 GHz, these PICs support 1.6T today (200 Gbps per lane), with a clear path for upcoming 400 Gbps per lane systems.

DR8 PIC with Differential Drive
- Requires 1.5Vpp differential swing to achieve a 5dB modulated ER
- Ideal for direct drive from DSPs with integrated drivers
- Features > 130 GHz 3 dB electro-optic bandwidth
DR8 Pic with Single-Ended Drive
- Requires 1.4 Vpp single-ended swing to achieve a 5 dB modulated ER
- Ideal for use with linear drivers (such as single-ended DSP or LPO)
- Featuring > 150 GHz 3 dB electro-optic bandwidth
DR8 Pic with Differential Drive (Ultra-Low Power)
- Requires 0.6 Vpp differential swing to achieve a 5dB modulated ER
- Designed for direct drive from DSPs without an integrated driver, ensuring ultra-low power consumption
